Paris
[ID: D041]
The psychological experience of space is one of the great possibilities in the construction of architecture; we resonate with our surroundings both consciously and unconsciously in a continuous manner. Wandering through the streets of Paris, one is always taken by the refined elegance of line in matter, the forms that come together and play off each other in long verticality’s of widows stretching themselves into rounded roof curves in a symphony of form is very pleasurable for the eye that continuously seeks and measures from its own perspective. The buildings speak of their refined vertical tension and of the great poets and artists that they have housed; in a way they demand a verbal retribution, some form of recognition of what they provide, a space to be, a space to write, a space to fall in love or out of love, a place to paint or photograph. Paris is all this and so much more.
