Stadio dei Marmi
[ID: S157]
The human form is the loci in perceiving the world. The Fascist statues of the Stadio dei Marmi in a reverse way form part of the pathos of the human spirit. Through the eye of the lens I try to capture this inner pathos in its exteriority of white marble. My quest is mostly to reveal the strength, fragility, sexuality, brutality and the eroticism that can be imbued in marble and release this contained energy onto the visual eye through fragments of expressive components of the whole.
